VIDEO: Master Carver, Ian Agrell, discusses the philosophy behind Agrell Architectural Carving.
It seems incredible that even carved ornamentation has become global now – until we remember that it always has been. The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all travelled to other parts of their world to bring their skills to the local populations, later French carvers were employed in Britain where they decorated churches and cathedrals. The British themselves took carved decoration to the far corners of their empire, as did the Islamic craftsmen.
Because of the rarity in offering high volume, European style carving and good delivery, we continually attract clients from all over the world. Whether from Russia, India or the Middle East – across Europe and Asia, our clients are themselves increasingly global. It is now common for us to work with a contractor, architect or interior designer from one country whilst delivering our work to another. Luckily with modern communication and fast accurate shipping our particular skills are available anywhere.
With a capacity of over 50,000 hours of work a year, management in 4 time zones and a strong emphasis on quality and delivery, Agrell Architectural Carving offers clients the best service available - wherever they are.
