Celebrating July 4th with patriotic eagles
We would like to wish our friends, family and colleagues in the United States and very happy July 4th / Independence Day. We celebrate this with some examples of our patriotic wood carvings of eagles.
These images are all hand carved by our company but based on the designs of John Haley Bellamy (1836-1914). John Haley Bellamy was a famous carver from New England producing eagles and other hand carved decorative pieces for homes and boats.
John Haley Bellamy's original work is now extremely popular in the collectors market selling for hundreds of thousands at auction. However if a client would like their own patriotic hand carved eagle at a significantly reduced price then please contact us.
Other patriotic eagles we have carved include this heraldry coat of arms for a US court.
Of course it is not only patriotic eagles we carve. We are often comissioned to carve eagles for all sorts of projects, mainly furniture eg carved eagles for arms on chairs or for console tables. Here is an example of one of a pair of hand carved eagles for a console table.
And here you can see the fine detailing in all areas including the face, feathers and wing. A machine can not produce this high end quality of carving.
We recently finished a project in the UK for an interior designer who required three eagles to add onto a mirror frame. One facing left, one facing center and one facing right. We were able to mark up, hand carve and deliver in 4 weeks. We look forward to seeing pictures of the final gilded mirrors.
Here is a photo of the side profile.
